The inner root bark of the Mimosa hostilis tree, commonly known as Jurema, Jurema Preta, Black Jurema, or Vinho de Jurema, is the most sought-after part of the plant, recognized by local shamans for its entheogenic properties.
Mimosa hostilis originates from Brazil, where it has been used for centuries for various medicinal purposes.
